Hera Beauty supported a renowned candle brand in expanding its range into cosmetics, including 10 new refillable fragranced hand washes and lotions.

The Challenge:

A leading UK candle brand wanted to add hand wash and lotion to their product range without building their own production facility.

The Solution:

Hera Beauty successfully supported the project end-to-end over a period of 18 months, working closely with the client to manufacture and launch a range of refillable hand washes and lotions. With our support and expertise, the brand was able to rapidly expand its fragranced range, scaling up into 10 new personal care products.

Early on, Hera Beauty helped define the product direction by advising on suitable base formulations and fragrance levels, and by providing expert guidance on ingredient performance considerations.

Overall, the project ran very smoothly, and Hera Beauty managed testing and timelines to ensure a summer 2025 launch.

The Results:

The defining feature of the range is its use of signature home fragrances combined with a strong sustainability focus, achieved through ethically sourcing raw materials and opting for eco-friendly glass packaging and refill options for consumers.

During the manufacturing process, the brand relied on Hera Beauty for cosmetic expertise; such as formulation choices, ingredient considerations, and regulatory requirements. We formed a close, collaborative working relationship with daily contact, and meetings arranged at key milestones to review progress and align decisions.

The launch included a full handcare range with the choice of core fragrances, available in multiple formats including 240ml bottles, refillable pouches, gift sets, and sachet samples for trade shows.
