Our premium beauty focus
Located in Cambridgeshire, Hera Beauty has long been one of the UK’s leading personal care manufacturers. Following strong and sustained business growth, we’ve expanded our capabilities by continuing to invest in our facilities and the very latest technologies. In this way, we can meet and exceed all our partners’ expectations to help them scale for success.
What do we aim to do? Our mission is to make launching a premium cosmetic brand as easy as possible and deliver an effective and efficient route to market. The beauty sector is fast-paced, so we are flexible and agile for the benefit of your brand; launching new and on-trend formulations every month. We work collaboratively with our partners, really getting to understand your goals and sharing our expertise on ingredients, branding, beauty industry trends, regulations, packaging and more.
At Hera Beauty, we provide four primary service sectors. These comprise: new product development, bulk manufacturing, contract manufacturing, and private label formulations. Each service sector offers distinct advantages depending on your business goals. If you’re not sure which would suit you, then get in touch so we can support and advise.
Our manufacturing facilities
We’ve already mentioned our Cambridgeshire facilities, so let’s take a closer look. Our modern GMP-certified 28,000 sq ft factory building is home to our sales, technical, innovation and warehouse teams. It’s Hera Beauty’s headquarters and where all our core operations take place. Our team collaborates seamlessly between departments and can support your product development journey from initial ideas through to launch - and beyond!
In 2025, to meet growing demand, we doubled our storage capacity with the addition of a new unit, providing approximately 400 new storage spaces and room for over 1,000 pallets. In the future, we plan to add a new filling line here to increase our output further. This will support business growth and help customers with additional flexibility, product innovation, and improved availability. Take a look at how our growth has made the headlines recently.
Our production capacity is continually increasing due to investment in a wide range of machinery to meet all needs. For example, we can currently produce over 4,000L and fill 40,000 units each and every day. Our variety of machinery (including semi-automated and fully-automated fill lines) allows us to be as flexible as possible when it comes to order quantity and efficiency. Our equipment includes:
● 1,000L stainless jacketed process vessels for emulsions, gels, washes and oils.
● 500L jacketed vacuum vessel for more complex or high foam products.
● Wax melters and hot-filling equipment for hot-fill balms.
● Salt/powder room and auger for dry formulations.
● Tube filling machine with automated two-head and four-head filling lines.
● A range of semi-automated filling lines and labelling machines.
●
In short, we have dedicated equipment to manufacture all kinds of skincare and haircare products, including from very small amounts (such as 3ml) through to larger quantities (up to 5,000ml), in different types of containers.
Whether you want to create a bath salt, serum, moisturiser, gel, cream or solid balm deodorant - we’ve got you covered! Our purpose-built factory contains a variety of process vessels (from 5L to 1,000L), allowing us to be the manufacturer of choice for both start-ups and established multinational brands.
Our steps towards sustainability
Everything we do is focused on making positive choices for people and the planet. Hera Beauty’s aim is to set a market-leading example on climate action. It’s not just about taking environmental steps, but also about making sustainability the norm in our sector. To ensure we’re ‘walking the walk’, we are independently audited by the eco certification organisation Investors in the Environment (iiE).
This environmental outlook takes into account our production facilities too. Throughout the building, we’ve invested in PIR motion sensors and high-efficiency lighting. We’ve also installed strip curtains on all shutter doors to maintain heat and hygiene, and incorporated insulated water storage heaters to reduce energy loss.
In addition to the physical improvements, our team has identified key environmental aspects that contribute to the organisation’s carbon footprint: consumption of electricity, gas, water, waste, transport emissions, use of raw materials, and the environmental impact of procured goods and services. We have worked hard to create an Environmental Management System (EMS) and to regularly monitor key resources.
Our expertise
We know it’s not just about having cutting-edge facilities, but also about the team being integral to the work we do. Our in-house technical, quality control and regulatory team ensures all products are compliant with UK and EU regulations. We maintain high manufacturing standards at all times.
Whether you want full product development, contract manufacturing or private label support, our team are involved every step of the way. We pride ourselves on being a flexible partner and love working with a wide client base, from ambitious start-ups through to established multinational brands. Want to work with us too?
